Projects with greater scope, site complexity, or additional documentation requirements will be priced accordingly, and confirmed with you in writing before any work begins. There is no cost or commitment associated with an initial enquiry.

Common pricing questions.

Is the fixed price the same across all of SEQ?

Yes. The fixed prices apply regardless of which council area your property sits in, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay, Redlands, or Sunshine Coast. No location surcharge.

What's not included in the fixed price?

Council application fees, structural engineering, site surveys, soil testing, and overlay specific reports are not included. These are standard additional costs that are separate from the drawing fee regardless of which drafting service you use. We'll advise you on what's likely needed for your specific project.

Do I pay upfront or on completion?

We ask for a deposit to commence work and the balance on delivery of the completed drawing set. Specific payment terms are confirmed when you receive your quote. No payment of any kind is required to enquire or receive a suitability assessment.

What happens if my project is out of scope?

If your project falls outside our standard fixed price scope, for example, a complex site, heritage overlay requirement, or multi structure project, we'll tell you honestly at enquiry stage, before any commitment. We may be able to quote a custom price, or we'll point you in the right direction if we're not the right fit.

How much does structural engineering cost?

Structural engineering is engaged and paid directly by you, separately from Plan Draft's drawing fee. Fees vary with the structure and site, and the engineer quotes each job directly. We'll advise whether engineering is likely required for your specific project.
